We meet the second Saturday of each month at 12:30pm. The suggested donation is $5 ASD members, $7 non-members.

On Saturday, November 13th, Paul Stone will be speaking on "Gold, Power Spots and The Curse of the Mummies."

At Robert Gilbert's Biogeometry Foundation Training based on Ibrahim Karim's work, I learned about the work of the European radiesthesists of the mid-twentieth century. They discovered that 12 energies come to Earth from the Sun, and invented several instruments to measure those energies including the virtual cone and universal pendulums. In addition to the energies we are familiar with; infra-red, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, ultra-violet, white and black, they discovered negative green. Negative green is an energy that penetrates matter, so they called it the spiritual carrier wave. These energies have two components which they called electric and magnetic. Today this causes confusion, so Vertical negative green and Horizontal negative green are used to designate the two aspects of this energy.

The French radiesthesists also discovered that they could fix the energies so they could study them more easily. Instead of following the sun, they used a hemi-sphere to stabilize where the different energies manifest. It turns out that the pyramid form is equivalent to the hemi-sphere. Eventually, they discovered that the ancient Egyptians had extensive knowledge of negative green and that they used it for mummification. Some of things I will share include: identifying energies, beneficial and toxic to humans; design strategies to bring spiritual energy into a home or workplace; transmutation of toxic energy; healing the energy body and more. I have recently learned how to dowse for earth energies with L-rods, ask for the color of the grid lines and even what solar or stellar influence they may have! I will also share several methods for transforming energies that are toxic to humans and an ancient symbol to carve into a rock to act as an energy battery.

Paul Stone is a general contractor currently living in Occidental and can be reached by calling (707) 849-2540 or e-mailing: pkstone@neteze.com.

THE PRESIDENT'S CORNER
Shirley speaks…

Election day provides an opportunity to put consciousness into action. Voting, Deepak Chopra argues, "Affects the world as surely as the Buddha's hand in a mudra of peace." On November 2, we must vote as if our future — and our democracy — depended on it. Pleae read "One Soul, One Vote" on page 28 of the October issue of CommonGround. Also check out page 74 "Let's Elect Ourselves" by Swami Beyondananda. (See www.commongroundmag.com.)

The holidays are upon us, along with cooler weather and family gatherings. I received the following true story a while back, passed it on, and now I want to share it with all of you. It is titled "A Wonderful Truth." At the Seattle Special Olympics, nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled at the starting line for the 100-yard dash. At the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a dash, but with a relish to run the race to the finish and win. All, that is, except one little boy who stumbled on the asphalt, tumbled over a couple of times, and began to cry. The other eight heard the boy cry. They slowed down and looked back. Then they all turned around and went back... every one of them. One girl with Down's Syndrome bent down and kissed him and said, "This will make it better." Then all nine linked arms and walked together to the finish line. Everyone in the stadium stood, the cheering went on for several minutes.

People who were there are still telling the story... Why? Because deep down we know this one thing: What matters in this life is more than winning for ourselves. What matters in this life is helping others win, even if it means slowing down and changing our course. "A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle."

We here in California live with the prospect of an earthquake happening at any time. I found this article very enlightening and hope you will too.

"Triangle Of Life"

My name is Doug Copp. I am the Rescue Chief and Disaster Manager of the American Rescue Team International (ARTI), the world's most experienced rescue team. I have worked at every major disaster in the world since 1985, except for simultaneous disasters. The information in this article will save lives in an earthquake.

In 1996 we made a film which proved my survival methodology to be correct. The Turkish Federal Government, City of Istanbul, University of Istanbul, Case Productions and ARTI cooperated to film this practical, scientific test. We collapsed a school and a home with 20 mannequins inside. Ten mannequins did "duck and cover," and ten mannequins I used in my "triangle of life" survival method. After the simulated earthquake collapse we crawled through the rubble and entered the building to film and document the results. The film, in which I practiced my survival techniques under directly observable, scientific conditions, relevant to building collapse, showed there would have been zero percent survival for those doing duck and cover.
Simply stated, when buildings collapse, the weight of the ceilings falling upon the objects or furniture inside crushes these objects, leaving a space or void next to them. This space is what I call the" triangle of life." The larger the object the less it will compact. The less the object compacts, the larger the void, the greater the probability that the person who is using this void for safety will not be injured.
Tips Doug Copp Provides:

1) Everyone who simply ducks and covers when buildings collapse is crushed to death -- Every time, without exception. People who get under objects, like desks or cars, are always crushed.

2) Cats, dogs and babies all naturally often curl up in the fetal position. You should too in an earthquake. It is a natural safety/survival instinct. You can survive in a smaller void. Get next to an object, next to a sofa, next to a large bulky object that will compress slightly but leave a void next to it.

3) If you are in bed during the night and an earthquake occurs, simply roll off the bed. A safe void will exist around the bed.

4) If an earthquake happens while you are watching television and you cannot easily escape by getting out the door or window, then lie down and curl up in the fetal position next to a sofa, or large chair.

5) Everybody who gets under a doorway when buildings collapse is killed. How? If you stand under a doorway and the doorjamb falls forward or backward you will be crushed by the ceiling above. If the door jam falls sideways you will be cut in half by the doorway. In either case, you will be killed!

6) Never go to the stairs. The stairs have a different "moment of frequency" (they swing separately from the main part of the building). The stairs and remainder of the building continuously bump into each other until structural failure of the stairs takes place. Even if the stairs are not collapsed by the earthquake, they may collapse later when overloaded by screaming, fleeing people.

7) Get near the outer walls of buildings or outside of them if possible. It is much better to be near the outside of the building rather than the interior. The farther inside you are from the outside perimeter of the building the greater the probability that your escape route will be blocked.

8) People inside of their vehicles are crushed when the road above falls in an earthquake and crushes their vehicles; which is exactly what happened with the slabs between the decks of the Nimitz Freeway. The victims of the San Francisco earthquake all stayed inside of their vehicles. They were all killed. They could have easily survived by getting out and sitting or lying next to their vehicles, says the author. All the crushed cars had voids three feet high next to them, except for the cars that had columns fall directly across them.

If you would like to receive messages when earthquakes occur that have magnitudes of 5.5 or greater anywhere in the world or 4.5 or greater in the contiguous U.S., Hawaii, and Alaska, you can visit the home page at www.usgs.gov or subscribe at this address: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/products/neic_data_services.html.

Getting back to dowsing, each month we will have a monthly dowsing topic for everyone to participate in, if you choose to. October's question was "Where will there be volcanic and/or earthquake activity in the next 30 days - the location - the intensity or magnitude - only checking California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska? If you are unable to attend the November meeting and have dowsed this question, please send the results of your dowsing to: dowsershirley@hotmail.com.

We now have an expert map dowsing team available at each meeting, so if you have any questions about discordant energies in your home or workplace, we will try and answer them for you. If you are trying to locate underground water on your property, or suspect that you have negative influences affecting you such as noxious energy lines, vortexes or geopathic stress, please bring a map of your property.

That's it for now. Be sure and check out the website: www.dowsersofthewest.org for some interesting articles on dowsing and information on the Can-Am Conference, May 27-30, 2005 in Issaquah, Washington. Professional dowsers, gift yourself with a listing.

Happy holidays!
In love and light, Shirley
