Spiritual Growth In Your Daily Life
On Saturday, March 12, Pat Dornik will be speaking on "Spiritual
Growth In Your Daily Life."
The focus of this talk is to offer a series of exercises that activate
the heart chakra into greater levels of Light and understanding through
balancing the energies of the mind levels. This opens the pathways to
work with heart chakra alignment by opening the higher emotional frequencies
at the second chakra that work with Love (subconscious magnetic vibrations)
alignment at the heart.
It is vital to understand that as we grow, we begin to integrate greater
levels of Light into our daily lives. Techniques for clearing and communication
change as we grow into a higher level of light (initiation/learning) evolution.
As our soul work evolves we grow in consciousness and abilities so that
we can work within our own light field for greater understanding. We can
then gain access to release/clear ourselves of elements that keep us from
experiencing the light code within our consciousness. Our consciousness
is learning to understand, remember and work toward accepting itself as
part of its own God Self. When we are ready to receive, and as we accept
this fuller, richer Light in our life, we will ultimately become the Light.
WORKSHOP: "Calibrated Energy Therapy,"
Sunday, March 13th
at Barry Smith's home from 10 am to 5 pm for $65 for members, $80 for
nonmembers.
Pat is also available for personal consultations
on March 10th and 11th.

WORKSHOP BENEFITS:
Understanding and experiencing how to work with your level of light.
Learning to work with the changes that each light step brings. Recognizing
when you have accessed a higher level of light, when your current tools
are not working and when you need to update.
Pat has been doing metaphysical work for the last 30 years and is familiar
with mediumship, channeling, energy work, psychometry, and crystal/stone
vibrational work as a clairvoyant. Her left palm carries the insignia
of the eye in front of a chalice and her right hand carries the crossed
heart. She works with many levels of dimensional information in her private
sessions with energy work
Dowsing the Human Gene
On Saturday, April 9th, Walt Woods will be speaking on "Dowsing the
Human Gene"
This talk covers the simple basic principles of what a gene is and how
it works at a simple cartoon level. Walt will then cover some very interesting
dowsing experiments along with the dowsing programs and methods that you
could try. Also covered will be some of the apparently very successful
gene experiments and how they are now doing.
Walt Woods is a Past President and Trustee of the American Society of
Dowsers, Chairman of the Sierra Dowsing Chapter in Sacramento and a member
of the Ozark Research Institute Research Committee. He is a retired college
science instructor who travels and gives workshops, talks and advanced
schools at conventions and meetings around the U.S. and Canada. Walt learned
to dowse from his father in the mid 30s. He has spent many years
researching dowsing and related areas, both scientifically and metaphysically.
Walt wrote the widely used booklet "Letter to Robin, A Mini-Course
in Pendulum Dowsing" for beginning and advanced dowsers. Walt is
continuously researching new areas and is always changing and updating
his lectures and workshops, as well as adding new talks.

SPECIAL NOTICES
"Group Self-Healing Sessions/Classes" with Pete Warburton.
Dowsing is a mental phenomena of asking a question from the mind, and
getting a physical response (interpreted as a "yes" or "no"
answer) from the physical body. The theory of dowsing for "power
of mind self-healing" is that the body will heal itself, if the subconscious
understands the cause of the problem.
The dowser "plays detective" to find a disharmony in their
physical or psychic body, then asks their subconscious inner healer to
clear the disharmony, which may be ungrounding an emotional block, or
some other disturbance. The subconscious inner healer clears you of the
disharmony and brings you back into harmony (balance). We, as dowsers,
are not medical practitioners and thus, we do not diagnose or treat, we
only tell you dowsing stories for you to take into account in managing
your health.
Each class is complete in itself. You are welcome to attend as many or
as few classes as you wish. Mondays, 6~8pm at the Divine Science Center,
1540 Hicks Ave, San Jose, CA. Suggested donation $7 ~ no one turned away.
Call Pete Warburton at (408) 733-9657 between 2-8pm or Cathy Coultrip
at (925) 462-8576 for more information. This class is sponsored by The
San Jose Chapter of the American Society of Dowsers, Inc.
The next pendulum dowsing class is on Sunday, April 3 from 1-5pm in
Occidental. The suggested donation is $40, $35 for ASD members and
includes a pendulum and a packet of useful information, including charts,
to use at home. The class is limited to ten, so register now by e-mailing:
dowsershirley@hotmail.com or calling (510) 551-3136. Sponsor a class in
your home and receive the class for free. Classes are held every other
month on the first Sunday in various Bay Area locations. Call now to sponsor
a class on Sunday, June 5th.
Don't forget to bring your donations for the raffle drawing and your
used books and videos for recycling. Raffle tickets are one for $1,
six for $5 or 12 for $10. All moneys received from the raffle drawing,

from absentee healing and/or prayers. E-mail: dowsershirley@hotmail.com.
Bumper Sticker Slogan Contest. All dowsers are eligible to win
a year's membership in ASD, a $35 value, by submitting the winning slogan
for a bumper sticker that will be designed by Bill Mundy as a fundraiser
for the San Jose Chapter. The money collected from the sale of the bumper
sticker will provide a scholarship to the West Coast Conference in 2006
and help in the cost of the website maintenance. If you have a lifetime
membership you can choose a pendulum, a set of L-rods or a book from the
products table at the monthly meeting.
Send your ideas to dowsershirley@hotmail.com.
The contest will end on Tuesday, March 8th at 12pm. The winner, dowsed
by the chapter, will be announced at the meeting on March 12th. The bumper
sticker will include the website: www.dowsersofthewest.org.
In Memorium: Asha Goldberg ~ 10/5/42 - 12/24/04. Asha attended
Chapter meetings in Corte Madera and San Jose for many years and often
attended Barry Smith's monthly meeting for healers. Four years ago he
volunteered to start the website: www.dowsersofthewest.org.
He was an avid folk dancer and greatly loved for his spirit, kindness
and wonderful sense of humor. He danced with joy and brought much delight
into the lives of others. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his many
friends and family.
THE PRESIDENT'S CORNER
Shirley speaks
Congratulations to Pete Warburton, our Chapter "Dowser Of The Year"
for 2004. On January 8th, Pete received a framed certificate of appreciation
and a gift certificate for Hobbees where he has breakfast every day, except
Christmas, when they're closed. He informed us that he also won "The
Best Customer of the Year" Award at Hobbees. Way to go Pete!
All ASD members: this society needs a strong, energetic and cooperative
Board of Trustees committed to the success of dowsing and our society.
The future of our society is in your hands, and it is very important that
you vote for the potential Trustees that you dowsed will do the best job.
The ballot, that you received recently, needs to be at ASD Headquarters
before March 15th for your vote to count.
The February "Question of the Month" was how do you find items
that have disappeared? or what process do you go through to return lost
items to this dimension? or do you have a technique that works for finding
lost items? Along this same line of questioning would be, do things actually
disappear into other dimensions?
Thank you Bill Mundy for the following response.
"Recently Jeff Hawkins, the inventor of the first Palm Pilot, wrote
a book called On Intelligence, about the theoretical workings of
our brains. Essentially he sees our entire central nervous system as interconnected
layers of memory devices that store the memories in such a way that they
are triggered by minimal input
coming back as a prediction of what
we will see, hear, perceive or do (how we will act is also predicted by
our minds before we do it). Our brains primarily predict patterns for
what's around us based on our past patterns that we've learned.
When we're stress free everything is working together,
and we see things clearly. What happens when we loose things is our predictive
mechanism starts over-riding the input stream of new data. Often the raw
data is still there, it's only the pattern confusion that has gotten to
our perception. So basically, we don't have to research for lost things,
we can recall where they are when we didn't "see" them. The
trick is to clear up what's blocking your view. If you really think something
has gone into another dimension, you can substitute "what's blocking
my view?," for "what will bring my object back from the other
dimension?"
Dowsing is a way to identify the cause of this interference
and look for the issues that are in the way. Once identified, you can
heal them or just turn them off. The process is easy, just keep in mind
that you're now finding the reasons that you cannot find the lost item,
not just finding the lost item. So, first ask if you can find your keys?
No. Ask, what's the first issue you need to identify? Stress? Mental?
Emotional? Physical? Outside interference? UFO's? Past lives? Karma? Anything
goes; we're looking for the patterns that you've got that are over-riding
your perception. Clearing them is easy
just ask them to clear. Bring
your awareness to your core, or shift it from your left side to your right.
It helps your brain re-program when you input data from both sides of
the body while focused on an issue. The mechanism isn't fully understood,
but it works. Follow up with, is that issue clear? Can I find my keys
now? What's next? Most objects become visible in less than ten issues.
This method can help you enhance your dowsing
too. It's just another method of perception subject to similar acts of
confusion. Set up a scale of dowsing expertise. Examine the issues that
block it, and check your progress. So you could view it as a universal
tool for self-improvement. Happy dowsing!"

I was delighted to read the "Water Prayer" starting on page
42 in the Fall 2004 Quarterly Digest. "I call on the divine powers
of nature, our guides and angels to bless this water and provide it with
the proper frequencies to remove unnatural impurities and energies; to
remove the detrimental and unneeded organisms, miasms, prions and toxins
in our bodies; to balance our chakras, energy patterns and meridians;
to gently cleanse all waste material from our cells and bodies; and to
draw us closer to our highest potential as loving spiritual beings while
raising our level of consciousness continuously and bestowing health and
comfort to our physical bodies. Let each drop bless and charge every other
drop it contacts, on and on. I call on this program to be installed continuously
for now and into the future for as long as it is ap-propriate for each
individual. In deep gratitude, amen."
This prayer is directed to water. You either say it to the water or set
the water on a copy of the prayer before drinking the water. Holding a
copy of the prayer greatly expands your energy field. Whatever you set
on the prayer will have its field expanded in seconds. (Hey Don, maybe
we should set the chapter's globe with the tiny labyrinths on the "hot
spots" on top of a copy of this prayer!!!!)
The work on this prayer was inspired by Dr. Hulda Clark (www.drclark.com),
by Raymon Grace (www.raymongrace.net)
and by Joey Korn (www.dowsers.com). Be sure and read the entire article.
Harold Koontz, Ph.D., and Sue Gridley, Ph.D. would be very interested
to know if others get similar results. Email: harold77@ypisp4u.net.
The March "Question of the Month" is how do you use dowsing
to define your personal mission statement or life goals to have your dreams
become your reality? I am eagerly awaiting your response to this question
especially since both Jean Slatter and Dr. Charles Crowder gave us wonderful
information about using dowsing for the achievement of your goals. We
all deserve a fulfilling life lived with purpose, intention and in harmony
with our heart's desire!
It is the time to make plans for the Second International Can-Am Dowsers
