1. The Greene Edge in Your Home

*Identify GMO Foods

Follow a cow! Cows, when left to rangefree, will walk through acres of genetically modified corn to get to the "good" corn.

Affirmation:
I choose foods that are healthy for my body.

Exercise:
Since most of you don't have a cow, there are some testing alternatives. If you know how to use a pendulum or do muscle testing, ask if the products you are considering buying contain genetically modified ingredients.

*Avoid the "Sugar Blues" Cereal

One mother, to avoid the "what cereal challenge" told her children she would buy every cereal they wanted once. If the cereal passed her driveway test, she would buy it again. If it failed, it was on the "don't ask list". She would then take all the one choice cereals and put them in piles on her driveway at night. In the morning, the cereals the "critters" ate were the ones she would buy again. If the "critters" did not eat the cereal, it went on the "don't ask list". Shopping became much less stressful when the children were helping with the choices.

Affirmation:
I choose wisely when shopping for my family and myself.

Exercise:
Try the cereal test given above or test other food products on your driveway. Note to So. CA residents: Some foods may not be the best thing to leave out. They might attract tigers.
Tiger image is missing here. So be on the lookout.

2. Time to Attack Your Stuff?

Join this TeleForum
Clear Your Clutter - De-stress!

Are you hearing yourself say: "I can't do that, I have too much to do, my house/office is a mess?
It may be a project stacked on the corner of your desk. It may be the unanswered e-mails or the stack of papers for "getting ready to do your taxes". Do you hear yourself saying, "Oh yes I need to do that one-day real soon"?

Let's take the stress out of "getting it done":

1. Watch projects and stuff seem to easily disappear
2. Find room in your head for the important things.
3. Begin now and you can stop feeling guilty for not getting "around to it."
4. Don't stay stuck! Let's move ahead!

Are you ready to Zing those Zappers...those things that robs you of time, money and energy?
WHY put it off any longer???

3. ASK SUE

*Fluoride in Instant Tea
Question.... Most recently in Dr. Mercola's article, and also in similar yet unrelated articles, they mentioned the danger of fluoride in instant tea. My question is, how do we determine whether instant tea, or any tea, has fluoride in it? Is it listed in the nutritional information? Is it something added to the tea? If it is in instant tea, then is it not in regular Salada or Red Rose tea bags? Diane W. VT

Answer:
One thing you can do when wondering about a product's ingredients would be to use your pendulum or muscle testing to ask if, as in this case, fluoride is in the tea.

In the processing of "instant", decaffeinated or other ready-to-eat food items, the manufacturers need to do some chemical alterations. The food is then ready-made or well preserved for a long shelf life.
When you buy store items that are not in their natural state, you might want to use your pendulum to ask how this product was altered and is it safe for me to eat.

Fluoride is a by-product of the aluminum industry. Fluorine, the element, is really a gas. For more on fluorine visit this site: http://www.all-natural.com/fleffect.html. The Germans and the Russians during WW II have used fluorides to modify behavior and the mood of human beings. The history of fluoride is long and filled with controversy. If you want to question its use read the warning label on the toothpaste box.
Organic teas should be free of fluoride. It never hurts to check either. A new twist on instant—notice that a tea bag put in a jar of room temperature water gives you tea in a short time—some call it sun tea but the truth of the matter is you don't need the sun.

My big question these days "Is it safe for me?" or "How wise is it for me to eat/drink this?"
One of the best investments you can make in your future is an investment in healthy foods and products. What difference does it make if you save $10,000 to $100,000, a year only to get sick and have the money go for your health issues. If you invested some of that money in buying wisely and eating healthy to maintain your well being there will still be "money in the bank."

Affirmation: I eat healthy today!

Exercise:
What decisions can you make today in your buying habits to assure your own personal "extended" shelf life? Could it be to buy butter and not margarine? Maybe your choice might be to shop the local farmers
markets two or three times a month. Look for the organic farmers and then test the quality of your other purchases. Read the labels on packaged products. To know what the big words mean, send for my Dirty Dozen list below. It is all about choice and making the best decisions for you.
